Synopsis

The story follows Kaori and Takeru as they journey through a coastal town. Their relationship was less like that of lovers and more like that of family. However, just as their marriage registration approached, Takeru takes his own life. Kaori, who had believed Takeru was the one person who understood her best, was devastated and once again shut herself off from others, just as she had before meeting him. In the midst of her grief, Kaori remembers Nakano Shingo, a novelist who was Takeru’s close friend, and decides to visit him.
