Synopsis

Serialized for approximately 44 years starting in 1973, Haguregumo is set in Shinagawa-juku during the final days of the Edo period. The story follows Kumo, an eccentric man who lives each day freely and lightly touches the lives of those around him. Along the way, he crosses paths with legendary historical figures such as Shimizu Jirocho, Sakamoto Ryoma, and Okita Souji.
