Synopsis

They’re complete opposites, but as they stand on the edge between boyhood and adulthood, their hearts begin to sway in this tender, bittersweet coming-of-age love story.

Shuichiro Hayakawa (Usa Takuma) is a high school student who once loved music deeply. But after a painful event in his past, he shut himself off and let it go. Sometimes, trying to fill that emptiness, he’d sleep with anyone-yet no matter what he did, the ache inside never faded. One suffocating day, unable to bear it anymore, he escapes to the school rooftop. It’s quiet. The sky and sea blur into one. And before he knows it, he’s humming a tune he thought he’d forgotten.

That’s where he meets Ryohei Konno (Hirano Koshu), a classmate. He’s blunt and distant, but when it comes to photography, Konno is sincere and unshakably passionate.

Hayakawa finds himself drawn to that intensity-but at the same time, he can’t stop comparing Konno’s certainty to his own lack of direction. Jealousy and insecurity start to build up until Hayakawa, overwhelmed, lashes out. From that moment on, something begins to shift between them-something deeper than friendship.

Then the story picks up in college. Konno is exactly where he hoped to be, studying photography at art school. But he and Hayakawa have drifted apart.

Still, a single unexpected event sets their paths on a collision course once again…
