Synopsis

Based on a manga by Nachi Izumi, this “corporate slave fantasy comedy” follows Yabu Rinichiro, a section chief in the Second Sales Division at Well Black Corporation – a black company where unpaid overtime is the norm and salaries remain stagnant. Through Yabu, a corporate devotee who believes “overtime is the company’s way of showing hospitality” and “low wages are just edging play for his modest self,” the story explores perspectives on work-life balance and one’s approach to career and life.
