Non-REM no Mado is back for its seventh instalment! This is a series of short stories written by Bakarhythm.

“Non-REM sleep” is the state of deep sleep. These three mysterious short stories will make you wonder, “Is this a dream?” or “Is this reality?” Dream or reality, reality or not reality… We traverse through the mysterious world of Bakarhythm in “Non REM no Mado.”

Since the program’s start three years ago, this omnibus drama has been unleashing the full “Bakarhythm World” – a creative universe interwoven with witty humor and crafting exquisite stories. Up to now, they have broadcast 17 short dramas! This seventh installment will once again deliver two absolutely exceptional works.

This work consists of two episodes, with the first episode, “Please Follow the Car Ahead” written by Bakarhythm. This familiar line heard in dramas and movies is explored through a peculiar tension created by the “someone who said it” passenger and the “someone who was told” taxi driver, examining what would happen if such a situation actually occurred.

The second episode, “Ready… Fiction!” centers on a former variety show director. Suddenly accused of wrongdoing, he is dispatched to a news-specialized production company, where he becomes entangled in a world where 10% of reported news is fabricated through instructions from the government and sponsors.
