Synopsis

During the Great East Japan Earthquake, 12 towns and villages in Fukushima were designated as evacuation areas due to the accident at the Tokyo Electric Power Company’s Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant. This work is a human drama, with each episode focusing on one of 12 real-life immigrants in the area.

The story is told in an omnibus format, which is inspired by interviews from real-life locations and with people who served as “models”. It depicts the struggles and setbacks they face as they take on various challenges leading to their relocation, as well as their growth through interactions with local residents.
