Synopsis

Doctor Sayama Taku (Yamazaki Ikusaburo) runs Sayama Kodomo Clinic, which specialises in child psychiatry. His family owns a general hospital but he chose to take over his aunt’s small clinic in the outskirts. As a result, Taku is treated as an oddball by the family. However, he has a certain conviction. As someone who has been living with autism spectrum disorder, he understands the struggles more than anyone and values the time he has with child patients and their families. Toono Shiho (Matsumoto Honoka), a medical intern at Taku’s clinic, loves children. When she was interning at a university hospital’s pediatrics department, she kept making mistakes until she ended up committing a blunder that could have led to a grave accident. Her professor told her to give up on becoming a doctor. Around the same time, she learned that she has attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. Shiho was at the point of letting go of her dream to be a doctor. But an encounter with Taku gave her the encouragement that she needed to carry on.
