Synopsis

Hori Makoto devoted herself to sword training in order to avenge Kingo, who died protecting her when she was young. Her adoptive father, Hori Kuranosuke, and his wife, Yaei, have arranged matchmaking with Makoto many times in order to keep the family name alive. Makoto begins defeating matchmaking opponents who challenge her one after another. Makoto then falls in love with Oda Heitaro, a third son who matches Makoto’s personality, but the two end up competing against each other. On the other hand, out of a grudge, a ronin appears who wants to take Makoto’s life…
