Synopsis

Fukui National University employee Rukawa Minori, a woman in her late 20s recovering from heartbreak, is actively searching for a marriage partner when an unexpected job transfer from the accounting department to the career support office completely changes her life.

There, she encounters the unconventional team of career advisors known as the “Shukatsuya”, a passionate group whose motto is “Not a single student left behind.” They offer an almost meddlesome level of support to struggling students—through talent-discovery counseling, corporate matching bus tours, and even celebratory confetti balls when a student lands a job offer. Though Minori initially struggles to fit in, she gradually finds herself drawn into the team’s mission, encouraged by the unique and dynamic department head.

One of her biggest challenges is Ueda Naonari, a student who has completely given up on job hunting. As Minori goes to great lengths to help him “find a way of life that’s true to you,” she begins to reexamine her own path—and eventually takes a bold leap forward herself.
