Synopsis

Based on Yamada Taichi’s novel. TV screenwriter Tamiya Taichi and his family, who live comfortably in the suburbs of Tokyo during the Reiwa era, suddenly travel back in time to June 1945 right in the midst of the Pacific War. Witness the reality of a world where communicating via cellphone is impossible and food is difficult to obtain. In the midst of such hard conditions, Taichi and others, along with Kojima Toshio, the nephew of Taichi’s father’s wartime comrade, and his son, struggle to survive in the era of the Pacific War after being transported to the past.
