Synopsis

WOWOW will be airing the stage play performance for Typhoon 23-go which boasts a full star-studded cast of top actors.

Set in a town bracing for an approaching typhoon, the story portrays the lives of the ordinary people living there.

Despite it being October, the heat is unnaturally intense in a small seaside town. A deliveryman, (Morita Go) races through the town as always, trying to get packages to their destinations. Kikuchi Masami (Akiyama Natsuko), whose delivery still hasn’t arrived, confronts the deliveryman, but the argument escalates until a police officer (Komakine Ryusuke) steps in to break it up.
Meanwhile, caregiver Tanabe (Mamiya Shotarō) heads to the town office to look for Furukawa (Sato-Bsaku), an elderly client. Together with Furukawa’s daughter (Kimura Tae), and her husband, (Fujii Takashi), they try to convince their stubborn father to return home, but things only continue to spiral out of control.
