Synopsis

The second installment in a documentary drama series from the team behind the 2025 broadcast “1995: 30 Years Since the Tokyo Subway Sarin Attack”. This drama turns its lens on the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant accident that occurred during the Great East Japan Earthquake on March 11, 2011 — 15 years ago. Based on exclusive interviews with real doctors and Self-Defense Forces personnel, the drama depicts the people who fought desperately to contain a nuclear plant spiraling out of control, even as their own lives hung in the balance.
