Yukihira Natsumi is a no-nonsense, intelligent Tokyo homicide cop known as the department’s “number one” case closer, who nevertheless also has a bad reputation for not working well with others and pushing the limits of the law. Mochizuki Akira, who replaced Yukihira Natsumi, begins her job at the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department. A female high school students asks her to find her missing father. Shortly afterwards, the phone at the police department rings. A man on the other end of the call states that he kidnapped 4 men. The female high school student’s father is among the 4 men kidnapped.

The special team of the #1 investigation unit at the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department learns of a horrifying video transmitted via the Internet. Viewers who watch the video are asked to answer a series of “yes or no” questions. If the answer is wrong, a man wearing a mask shoots a hostage. As the yes or no answers become more heated, the video is broadcast on live TV.

This is the third spinoff special of the Unfair drama series starring Kitano Kii as Detective Mochizuki Akira. A doll with a burn mark on the left wrist, along with a message saying “Hoping for a reunion”, arrives at the Metropolitan Police Department. Does it mean a reunion with Mochizuki?
