The Elric brothers, Ed (Yamada Ryosuke) and Al (Mizuishi Atomu), may find their lives permanently altered after a failed attempt at restoring their late mother’s life through alchemy. Ed, sacrificing limbs to save his brother’s soul, tether’s Al’s essence to armor, and thus begins their quest to recover their original bodies by hunting down the elusive Philosopher’s Stone. As the Elric brothers arrive in Central, a series of murders targeting State Alchemists are being carried out by an unidentified man only known by the name of “Scar.” Ed being Scar’s new target, the brothers take on a fight for their lives, but the situation turns dire when automail is destroyed in the face of Scar’s overwhelming strength. Will the two find a way out and back to their original bodies?

Following the events of Fullmetal Alchemist: Revenge Scar, Ed and his friends head towards their final battle to face one last adversary known as “Father,” creator of the homunculi, and discover what past connection links him to Hohenheim.
