Angry Squad

Prequel to the movie Angry Squad Koumuin to 7-nin no Sagishi.

Based on the Korean drama “Squad 38” that aired in 2016, this movie is a crime entertainment story featuring a serious civil servant and a genius con artist. The story unfolds when Kumazawa Jiro, who works at the tax office, is swindled out of a large sum of money by con artist Himuro Makoto. With the help of his detective friend, Kumazawa tracks down Himuro. However, in order to pursue his own revenge, he decides to team up with Makoto. The two gather a group of misfit outlaws to form a con artist team known as the “Angry Squad” and set out to collect 1 billion yen in unpaid taxes from a major corporation hiding its tax evasion.
