119 Emergency Call

The drama, set in a fire department’s communication dispatch center, depicts the lives of dispatchers who respond to 119 emergency calls and critically direct ambulances and fire trucks, standing at the frontline of saving lives. Seino Nana is Kasuhara Yuki, a new dispatcher in Yokohama City Fire Department’s Third Section of the Command Division, while Seto Koji portrays Kaneshita Mutsuo, the senior dispatcher who serves as Yuki’s training officer.

Set one year after the original series that aired in January 2025, this new series unfolds at the Yokohama City Fire Department’s Communication Command Center during the busy year-end period. As the call center grows more hectic than ever, emergencies such as accidents, illnesses, fires, and year-end event–related troubles occur one after another. Amid the chaos, a proposal to introduce an “AI dispatcher” sparks debate over whether machines should replace human workers. Then, on New Year’s Eve, a sudden large-scale blackout throws the entire city into turmoil.
