Synopsis

This project serves as a reboot of the 1958 tokusatsu drama “Planet Prince,” reimagined under the direction of Kawasaki Minoru, the genius behind special effects comedy films such as “Three Giant Monster Gourmet” and “The World Sinks Except Japan.” Set 200 years after a spacecraft crashed on Earth, the story follows the Prince of the Fourth Planet from the MP5 Nebula, who awakens from a long slumber and rescues Kimiko, a baker’s daughter, from a life-threatening crisis, subsequently taking up residence at her family’s bakery.

Through his interactions with Earth’s inhabitants, the Prince sometimes switches places with a top idol while defending the city from invading Tartan aliens, appearing to thoroughly enjoy his life on Earth. However, the crash’s impact has caused him to lose most of his memories, leaving him unable to find a way back to the Fourth Planet. Despite becoming a popular hero, the Prince’s true identity as a cosmic destroyer is eventually exposed by the Tartan forces, creating a dramatic shift in how humanity perceives their supposed savior.
