Synopsis

The novel of the same name by Natsue Shiomu is brought to life on the big screen under the direction of Mai Sakai, known for her work on the TV drama “Utsukushii Kare” (Beautiful Boyfriend).

The story revolves around Akane, an honor student who always reads the atmosphere around her, and Seiji, a silver-haired classmate who is free-spirited and loves to draw. Initially, Akane dislikes everything about Seiji, as he is the complete opposite of herself. However, she is drawn to Seiji’s artwork and his straightforward personality, and gradually, the two begin to close the distance between them. Eventually, their intertwined pasts surface, and feelings that have never been expressed before overflow.

Taking on the role of Seiji is Ruki Shiroiwa, a member of the boy group “JO1,” marking his debut as the lead in a film. Akane is portrayed by Rinka Kumada, a model for “non-no” magazine and a versatile actor.
