Synopsis

Born in Etajima City, located in the island region of the Seto Inland Sea in western Hiroshima Prefecture, Shūji has spent his entire life without leaving the island. Ever since his father’s sudden death in their family field, he has carried a deep sense of guilt, leading to an aimless life while living with his mother in their family home. One day, he learns from a TV broadcast that his childhood friend, Kazuya, who has made a name for himself as a film director in Tokyo, is returning to Etajima to shoot a movie set in their hometown. Around the same time, Yukie, the woman they both once loved, is involved with a married man. As the emotions of these three intertwine, the filming begins.
