Synopsis

Sohee, a 14-year-old Korean girl living in Japan, attends a Korean school and dedicates herself to traditional Korean dance as part of her school club activities. During an exchange event with a Japanese school, she meets a Japanese girl named Mirai. Bonding over their shared love of K-pop, the two quickly become friends, and Sohee gradually begins to connect with the world beyond her close-knit community. Hoping to earn enough money to buy tickets to a K-pop idol concert, Sohee and Mirai decide to sell unwanted items from Sohee’s home through an online flea market platform.
Encouraged by the unexpectedly high price they receive for a North Korean CD owned by Sohee’s father, the principal of her Korean school, the two girls continue selling items for profit. Their scheme eventually goes too far when they sell even a medal that her father had been awarded by his homeland, North Korea.
