Synopsis

In 2020 the world was forced into lockdown due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Taking advantage of remote work, Shinsaku (Suda Masaki), who loves fishing and works for a large company in Tokyo, falls in love at first sight with a dream property: a 4-bedroom apartment with a rent of just 60,000 yen. Most importantly, it’s close to the sea, allowing him to enjoy his favorite pastime, fishing. He decides to try out an easygoing “trial relocation” to a town in the Sanriku region. In between work, Shinsaku spends his days fishing by the sea, but the townspeople can’t help but feel uneasy about this “outsider” from Tokyo. Though initially puzzled by the overly familiar and quirky locals, Shinsaku’s naturally positive attitude and proactive nature eventually help him fit right in. But little does he know, an unexpected twist in life awaits him-?!
