Synopsis

&In 1991, an unprecedented “double child kidnapping case” occurred. The case reached its statute of limitations without being solved. One child was safely found, while the other remained missing, until three years later the missing child suddenly appeared at their grandparents’ home. However, they refused to say a single word about those three years. Thirty years after the incident, journalist Monden Jiro begins pursuing the truth behind the case after the death of a longtime detective acquaintance. What is the hidden truth behind those three lost years?
 
Nishijima Hidetoshi plays the protagonist, Monden Jiro, a newspaper reporter who was in charge of the police beat at the time of the “double child kidnapping case.” After the death of a longtime detective acquaintance, Monden begins re-investigating the case in pursuit of the truth behind its bizarre developments.
