Nanoni, Chigira-kun ga Amasugiru

Synopsis

After complete and utter rejection, no amount of comfort from her best friend can take the dejection out of second year high schooler Kisaragi Maaya (Hata Mei). As she ambles about in low spirits, the school’s handsomeboi and top track star Chigira Sui (Takahashi Kyohei) takes a friendly interest, pitching the notion of a fake relationship. “If you can’t find someone to like, why not crush on me?!” he asks, very normally. As the agreed-upon rules dictate, they cannot fall for each other and they must not reveal the truth behind their relationship to a single living soul. Little do they know, Tezuka Soma (Itagaki Rihito) knows. He knows. And he’s got some feelings for a certain Kisaragi Maaya, but it’s tough luck for the both of them when Maaya realizes she’s slowly falling for her fake boyfriend. How will this end?!
