Synopsis

The story begins with a tragic fire that broke out one summer, fifteen years ago. A boy’s innocent fireworks play set an apartment building ablaze, and from the burning wreckage emerged a man named Nomoto, carrying the charred body of his wife. Traumatized by the horrifying memory, time seemed to stop that day for Ryunosuke and Takumi, the two boys involved.

Years later, the two men live completely different lives. Ryunosuke (Isomura Hayato) hides his guilt and pushes forward as a candidate for Japan’s Olympic archery team, while Takumi (Suezawa Seiya) remains haunted by the past, unable to move on.
Then, the burned man, Nomoto, reappears. Instead of seeking revenge, he quietly tells them, “You’ve already atoned enough.” His eerily gentle presence soon becomes that of a mysterious mentor who begins to guide and influence their fates.
