Synopsis

The story’s protagonist is Yuta, who travels to a rural town in Kyushu to care for his father-in-law after he breaks his leg. While helping out at the old-fashioned photo studio his father-in-law runs, Yuta exchanges smartphone videos with his wife and daughter back in Tokyo. Through these casual daily records and the accumulation of memories, the essence of “family life” gradually emerges.
