Synopsis

This film, based on a semi-autobiographical novel written by Shimofuri Myojo’s Seiya, tells the story of protagonist Ishikawa, who was popular through middle school but nearly lost his youth after suddenly becoming the target of bullying in the spring of his first year of high school. Devoting himself completely to the comedy he loves, Ishikawa fights to reclaim his true self and his life as he prepares for the school’s biggest event, the grand-stage “Bungeki Matsuri”
