Synopsis

The film is a human comedy that depicts the bond between Mikami Yuki, a granddaughter who moved from Tokyo and Mikami Taisuke, her grandfather who runs a melon farm in the city.
Assigned to the Tourism and Brand Strategy Division at city hall, Yuki struggles with unfamiliar duties. Yet, while being comforted by her daily life with Taisuke, she gradually learns to overcome the challenges in order to promote the city’s charm nationwide.

A year later, Yuki is approached by a colleague who she harbors a quiet affection for, who invites her to take on a business opportunity in Tokyo. As her heart wavers between choices, she learns a long-hidden truth: a secret Taisuke has kept for 40 years.
