Synopsis

Tsuji Ichiro, a company employee working at a small to medium-sized trading company, enjoys a good reputation within his workplace and has a woman with whom he has a relationship-like situation. However, he struggles with both being liked by others and liking others himself, having never experienced true love.

 

One day, he meets Hayama Ukiyo, a woman with a mysterious aura, at a convenience store. But simply by getting involved with her, he becomes entangled in one problem after another. Ukiyo is attractive yet has vulnerabilities and weaknesses that consequently drag those around her into trouble, while Tsuji, despite recognizing this pattern, finds himself unable to leave her alone.

 

As Tsuji becomes involved with underworld figures and loses his job and personal relationships, he continues down an increasingly destructive path in his desperate attempt to win her over.
