Synopsis

Ashina Moritaka was the 18th head of the Ashina clan, which ruled the Aizu region for 400 years beginning in the Kamakura period, and he was known by the nickname “the Snow Leopard of Aizu.”
From an early age, he lived with the Ashina clan as a hostage, and at the age of 14, during his first battle, he experienced a fateful encounter with enemy commander Satake Yoshishige.

Before long, when Ashina Morioki, the heir to the Ashina clan, died young from illness, the 17th head of the clan, Ashina Moriuji, decided to take a husband for Morioki’s wife, Hikohime, and install him as the new head of the Ashina family. As a result, Ashina Moritaka, who had been living as a hostage, went on to inherit the clan leadership.
After fully consolidating his power, Moritaka one day encounters Ōba Sanzaemon, who captivates him with a mesmerizing dance.
