Synopsis

This film follows the story of Kobayashi “Juju,” a young girl raised under strict parents who struggles to express her emotions. Unable to endure her strained family relationships, she runs away from home and finds herself in Tokyo’s bustling Kabukicho district in Shinjuku, guided only by what she sees on social media. There, through encounters with a diverse cast of people, Juju gradually learns to find her voice—and Kabukicho becomes the one place where she truly feels safe.
