Synopsis

In docu-fiction format, Bachiranun – meaning to never forget – overlays the history and culture of Yonaguni Island with the personal experiences of first-time director and actor Higashimori Aika, showcasing the island’s everyday life while highlighting a need to preserve a disappearing language and culture.
