Synopsis

A poignant yet intense tale of sexual and emotional love between two men and one woman. Based on a short manga written by Tsuge Yoshiharu in 1981.
 
Yoshio, a poor struggling manga artist living in Kitamachi is sent by the landlord of his apartment (who is also involved in other shady businesses) to help a novelist called Imori move in. He meets the recently divorced Fukuko, and is immediately captivated by her beauty, but it seems that she is dating someone else. Meanwhile, Imori plans to establish an advertisement agency, borrowing the name of a larger corporation from the wealthier Minamicho in order to publish his novel. Yoshio is roped into helping Imori with his efforts, and somehow both Imori and Fukuko end up living with Yoshio, where the three begin a strange cohabitation.
