New Action-Comedy Series Blends High School Drama with Espionage
A new Japanese series combines teenage friendship with high-stakes protection in this unique action-comedy. When Akabane Honeko (Deguchi Natsuki) becomes the target of a massive 10 billion yen bounty, her childhood friend Ibuki Arakuni (Raul) secretly becomes her bodyguard. But there’s a catch – she can’t know she’s being protected.

The plot thickens when it’s revealed that every single one of their classmates is also a secret bodyguard, each with their own specialized skills. Led by a tactical genius and martial arts expert, this extraordinary group of teenagers must protect Honeko while maintaining their cover as ordinary high school students.

The situation becomes even more complicated with the involvement of Honeko’s father, National Security Agency Director Jinguu Masahito (Endo Kenichi), and his eldest daughter Jinguu Masachika (Tsuchiya Tao), who harbors a mysterious hostility toward Honeko. As threats mount and secrets deepen, can this unusual team of teenage protectors keep their mission under wraps while keeping Honeko safe?
