Synopsis
Sweet sixteener Ai-chan (Sakanoue Akane) has so far experienced life under extreme restriction set in place by her “dokuoya” father Testuo (Hotoda Kan), a work-minded man whose relationship with his daughter consists more through email exchanges than shared meals. Although friendless and fashion-illiterate, Ai-chan closes that gap when she steps out of the cage and meets Seiko (Kurozumi Hisao). For two people who couldn’t be more different, they become like family to each other—but, unbeknownst to Ai, Seiko has a skeleton in the closet…
