About the Group
Originally formed in 2012 by Travis Payne, the group had 9 members split into an older brother and younger brother group. The group mostly performed at Playzone, back dancing occasionally for other groups. In 2016-2017, members began leaving the group, with the group ending up at five members (Kawashima Noel, Shimekake Ryuya, Yoshizawa Shizuya, Nakamura Kaito, and Miyachika Kaito) in October 2017. Former members Abe Alan and Morita Myuto were moved to Love-tune, before the entire group left the company to form 7ORDER.
In November 2017, Matsukura Kaito and Matsuda Genta were added to the group, bringing the total back up to 7. Travis Japan continued to make dance their strong point and became a well-known Jr group.
In 2021, they opened up their own Youtube channel +81 Dance Studio, where they would perform new dance versions of classic J&A songs.
In March 2022, the group announced they would be traveling to Los Angeles to study dancing, singing, and English, as well as compete at World of Dance and America’s Got Talent. On September 29th, 2022, it was announced they had been signed to Capitol Records and would make their worldwide major debut on October 28, 2022.
They debuted with the single Just Dance.
