About the Group

In April 2014, Hiro announced that a new group was being formed for Exile Tribe. On September 12, 2013, the final sixteen members (Riku, Kawamura Kazuma, Yoshino Hokuto, Likiya, Zin, Kamiya Kenta, Yonamine Rui, Yamasho, Iwaya Shogo, Urakawa Shohei, Fujiwara Itsuki, Takechi Kaisei, Hasegawa Makoto, Ryu, Suzuki Takahide and Goto Takuma) of The Rampage were recruited from participants of the Exile Performer Battle Audition, Vocal Battle Audition 4, and Global Japan Challenge.

The group spent 2 years touring the country to prepare for its debut, and in September 2016 it was revealed they would make their debut at the beginning of 2017.

The Rampage debuted on January 25th, 2017 with their single Lighting.

Ma55ive the Rampage is a sub-unit of The Rampage and features 5 performers – Likiya, Kenta, Yamasho, Shohei, and Takahide. The unit focuses on Hip-Hop.
