About the Group

Originally part of the 9-membered Mis Snow Man group that formed in 2009, the six-membered group Snow Man was created in 2012. Focused on acrobatics, stage play, and dancing, Snow Man back danced for senior groups like Tackey & Tsubasa, Kiss-My-Ft2, and ABC-Z, as well as regularly taking part in plays Takizawa Kabuki and Dream Boys.

In 2019, 3 new members were added to the group – Raul from Shonen Ninja, Meguro Ren from Uchuu Six, and Mukai Koji, a Kansai Johnny’s Jr member. This is documented in the documentary series, Ride on Time.

Snow Man’s debut was announced at the Johnny’s Jr. 8.8 Matsuri ~Tokyo Dome kara Hajimaru~ concert on August 8, 2019, as a double debut with fellow Tokyo Jr group SixTones. They debuted on January 22, 2020. D.D./Imitation Rain (their debut single) is the best-selling debut release in Asian history with more than 1.8 million physical copies sold.
