About the Group

First seen together as an unofficial unit in 2013, and separated in 2014, the group ended up coming back together due to influence from member Jesse, and officially became a Johnny’s Jr group in May 2015. SixTones and Snow Man were often paired together in musicals.

In 2018, SixTones were chosen for YouTube’s first Japanese Artist Promotion Campaign for emerging artists, releasing their first music video in November 2018 as part of the project. the group also held a Livestream and performed at Japan’s first YouTube Fanfest in December of the same year.

At the Johnny’s Jr. 8.8 Festival~Tokyo Dome Kara Hajimaru~ concert on August 8, 2019, it was announced that SixTones and Snow Man would have a double debut on January 22, 2020. D.D./Imitation Rain (their debut single) is the best-selling debut release in Asian history with more than 1.8 million physical copies sold.
