About the Group

In December 2016, EXILE members Sekai and Sato Taiki, as well as five other performers from EXPG were selected for a new dance group and were officially announced as FANTASTICS on January 31, 2017.

Sekai and Taiki were tapped as leaders of the unit, which included the five EXPG students Sawamoto Natsuki, Seguchi Leiya, Nakao Shota, Hori Natsuki, and Kimura Keito.

The group started touring the country, while LDH launched a new Vocal Battle Audition to find vocalists for the group. On December 20th, 2017, Yagi Yusei and Nakajima Sota were announced as vocalists of the group.

In March 2018, Nakao Shota revealed he had been diagnosed with stomach cancer and would be halting activities with the group. He passed away on July 8th, 2018.

On December 5th, 2018, the group officially debuted with the single Over Drive.
