Synopsis

When a school teacher is murdered, the main suspect, a former student, goes missing. As the investigation begins to wind down, veteran detective Taira Shotaro who has been sidelined to a desk job, is assigned by Chief Izutsu Isao to lead a dedicated investigation into the murder alongside young detective Oya Keigo.
