Synopsis

A youth ensemble drama depicting the lives of 22-year-olds living in the same town, struggling and persevering through pain and setbacks.

Tetsuo, 22 years old, runs the automobile repair shop left behind by his deceased parents. His sister Taeko, has shut herself off emotionally from the shock of losing her parents, and the factory’s management is not going smoothly. Keisuke (Takeda Shinji) is aiming to enter medical school to succeed his town doctor father and is currently in his fourth year of retaking entrance exams. Kaoru (Suzuki Kyoku) left town and works as an office lady at a trading company, while Ryoko (Fukatsu Eri) works at the local credit union and belongs to a theater troupe where she dreams of becoming an actress. Along with their friendship group was Takeshi (Kimura Takuya), who disappeared after a certain incident. Each with different dreams, taking different paths, and confronting the walls of society. Despair, betrayal, separation. In the dimly lit town with factory smoke, the dreams and wounds of 22-year-olds intersect.
