Synopsis
Murasaki Wakako is a 26-year-old who loves nothing more than alcohol and food. As a passionate drinker, she boldly ventures into any establishment that catches her eye. During her solo drinking sessions at various bars, Wakako reflects on workplace happenings and listens intently to other customers’ conversations, fully immersing herself in the pleasure of drinking alone.
She’s surrounded by supportive friends, work colleagues, and the master of her favorite bar “Ouraku,” who all warmly watch over her relationship with alcohol. Sometimes she savors carefully chosen food and drink pairings, while other times she leisurely enjoys seasonal dishes and beverages.
In those perfect moments when food and drink harmonize perfectly, her whole body fills with euphoria, and she unconsciously lets out a satisfied “pshuuu” sigh. For Wakako, these are moments of pure bliss.
