Synopsis

A socially conscious human drama that follows a DINK (Dual Income, No Kids) couple whose deliberate, child-free life begins to unravel after an unexpected pregnancy.

Kanazawa Asa and her husband Tetsuya had been living a peaceful life as a DINK couple, but it doesn’t stop those around them from asking the intrusive remarks, “Are you planning to have children yet?” and “It’s weird that you don’t have children” Those words cut deep for Asa, who found comfort in Tetsuya’s reassurance that they didn’t need children.

Having secretly harbored a desire to become a father, Tetsuya disregards Asa’s wishes and secretly sabotages their contraception — poking holes in the condoms to make it appear as though birth control had simply failed. Unaware of his betrayal, Asa visits an OB-GYN after feeling unwell, only to be hit with the shocking news that she is pregnant. And as if by a twist of fate, working at that very clinic is Mochizuki Sayaka — a woman who knew Tetsuya back in high school. An unwanted pregnancy. A woman who knows her husband’s past. The gears of fate turn relentlessly, threatening to derail Asa’s life entirely.
