While they are drawn to each other, they continue their relationship without fully trusting one another. By chance, Mika learns about Ryosuke’s past relationship, which has a shocking ending. The two begin to drift apart as their feelings grow more complicated. Set against the beautiful Tokyo Bay skyline, with elements like the Tokyo Monorail and the Rinkai Line woven in, the story explores the fleeting yet intense emotions that ebb and flow between them. Can one person truly love another forever? Fear of getting hurt, making excuses, and unknowingly repeating these patterns—this love story is about facing one’s feelings for another while navigating these obstacles. It depicts a love that feels close yet distant, unfolding on the other side of Tokyo Bay.
