Synopsis

Based on an original Korean screenplay, this crime thriller follows a female detective who goes undercover in a prison disguised as a man. Detective Amemiya Haru loses her detective brother in an accident during his undercover operation inside a prison. Consumed by suspicion over the true circumstances of her brother’s death, Haru makes a drastic decision: she cuts her hair, assumes a false identity, and infiltrates the very prison where her brother lost his life — this time as a man — determined to uncover the truth.
Inside the prison, Haru is thrust into a brutal, cutthroat world where only the strong survive. On her very first day, she is attacked by inmates in her cell block, until she is rescued by a fellow inmate, a lifer who commands deep respect even behind bars. As he continues to come to her aid time and again, Haru finds herself slowly opening up to him.
