Synopsis

An entertainment medical drama set in a small and quiet hospital in Shinjuku. Due to its location, in an alley in Kabukicho, many of the patients who visit the emergency room are not typical hospital-goers. Instead, they include impoverished homeless individuals, foreign residents, hosts, and sex workers—each with their own unique and complex backgrounds.
Suddenly, Dr. Yoko Nishi Freeman, a mysterious woman with American citizenship, who is a former military doctor, appears in Kabukicho. Eventually, her presence illuminates the various dark sides of Kabukicho. Then, Takamine Tooru, a cosmetic dermatologist working at his elderly uncle’s hospital, meets Yoko, and events start to unfold.
