Synopsis

Taku, a first-year high school student living in Nasu, Tochigi Prefecture, one day happens to witness a young man, Mitsuru, attempting to jump off a bridge and instinctively stops him. When Taku asks what happened after Mitsuru comes to his senses, he learns that Mitsuru apparently has no home to return to and no money. Though suspicious, Taku doesn’t think Mitsuru seems like a bad person, so he reluctantly allows him to stay for just one night. However, it is later revealed that Mitsuru was the best friend of Taku’s late older brother, who tragically died. Why has his brother’s best friend appeared now? What is his true identity? And what is the secret of the sketchbook clutched in Mitsuru’s hand?
