Synopsis

Adapted from the manga “Seishun Cinderella.” “If you want to confess, at least do something about your appearance”. When Hagino Shion confessed to her first love, the answer she received was less than ideal. Twelve years later, this still haunts her, but at 29-years-old she works as a beauty consultant and has since improved her style. Although she has yet to be in love, she leads a fulfilling life but her overly concerned meddling friend sets her up on a blind date. Shion’s sophisticated presence immediately attracts the attention of the men, but Shion herself is uncomfortable and just smiles awkwardly. Then Shion overhears a man making fun of a woman’s appearance, and suddenly she loses all self-control, triggering a flashback of negative feelings as she is reminded of the trauma from 12 years ago! When she comes across a photo of herself from her high school days, overcome with emotion, she tears it up and throws it away, but at that sudden moment she is enveloped in a blinding light and finds herself transported back in time, where she is reunited with her first love…. Within the midst of her confusion over whether she is in a dream or reality, Shion, unsatisfied with her appearance, undergoes a major transformation by making use of the makeup techniques she has cultivated over the years.
