Synopsis

Komukai Riko (Yoda Yuki) is a plain Jane with a plain personality, appearance, hobbies, and values. Riko works at an event planning company and is a part of Department 3, known as the slow-moving department. One day, a co-worker talks about “mass production people” (people who look, dress, and act the same) and Riko begins to question what this means. As she’s walking through town, she stumbles upon a plastic model store and “Zaku,” a character from the anime “Mobile Suit Gundam,” catches her eye, mainly because it said “mass production type.” Riko then challenges herself to make her first plastic model with help from the shop owner. She slowly sees the charm of building plastic models which is the catalyst to make her question herself.
