Synopsis

Set in the insurance investigation firm Miyama Research, which handles cases involving insurance-related crimes and accidents, this series follows Amane Ren, a brilliant investigator who stops at nothing to uncover the truth – unconstrained by rules, common sense, or corporate compliance.
 
Once a skilled detective in Tokyo Met. Police Department’s First Investigation Division, Amane left the force after failing to apprehend the culprit in a high-profile insurance murder case. Afterward, he was introduced to Miyama Research by his former superior from his detective days, and, drawn by the director’s personality and the nature of the work, he began his new career as an insurance investigator.
